Aunty Grace SAH expenditure – inclusion & exclusion list
The Support at Home (SAH) Program is designed to provide services, supports, and equipment that help you live safely, independently, and with quality of life in your own home. This may include care services, domestic support, assistive technology, and home modifications that address your assessed needs.
Under the Support at Home program rules, Aunty Grace and our Care Partners are responsible for ensuring that your funds are only spent on permitted services and items included in your Support Plan. We may need to refuse a request for any expense that is not permitted under the program rules. If that happens, your Care Partner can provide information and advice on other avenues that may be available, including local community or council programs.
The Australian Government provides a clear list of services that can be delivered under the Support at Home program. These services are designed to help older Australians stay safe, well, and independent at home for as long as possible.
Additionally, the Government publishes separate information about what can and cannot be purchased using SAH funds for Assistive Technology and Home Modifications.
